Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing activities. You will negotiate with vendors, analyze bids, and issue purchase orders while ensuring compliance with policies and timelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or related field and a minimum of six years of relevant experience in procurement. Expect active vendor relationship management and cost optimization efforts within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with vendors to obtain best pricing and payment terms.
• Identify procurement needs, initiate RFQs, bid analysis, and raise purchase orders.
• Follow up quotations and bids analysis with end-user and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor vendor performance and report to procurement superintendent.
• Receive requisitions, verify accuracy, and ensure adherence to specs and timelines.
• Maintain and update procurement policies, SLAs, and supplier agreements.
• Develop vendor relationships to broaden the network of suppliers.
• Assist in cost management and identify potential cost reductions.
• Prepare timely reports meeting requirements and ensure safety compliance.

Principle Accountabilities

• Identify procurement needs initiate, prepare and dispatch RFQ Bid Analysis and purchase order as per the department policy and procedures

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with vendors to get the best possible pricing and payment options. The bid, award, and administer supply, services, and orders to suppliers
• Follow up quotations, bids analysis with end-user and Order deliveries
• Constantly monitor vendor performance and update it to procurement superintendent for evaluation
• Receive Procurement Requisitions, from stores via purchase coordinator and verify
• Update Procurement Department policies and procedure, service level agreements and comprehensive purchase agreement
• Work with team members and vendors to ensure adherence to ordered specs, quality & timelines
• Manage and develop vendor relationships and broaden network of existing group vendors to provide the internal customers with a wider range of product / service solutions
• Assist to buy all supplies and equipment's and maintain quality for same
• Clarify end-user queries to ensure procurement order is placed for the right material/services Negotiate fair pricing without compromising on quality of goods or services
• Assist in cost management to identify areas of potential cost reduction and analyze the impact of pricing changes for goods and services in routine activities
• Perform other jobs as requested by the Manager from time to time
• Prepare timely and accurate reports in line with narrative reports that meet the requirements
• Promote and ensure compliance with Organization's Health & Safety policies
