InterContinental Residences Abu Dhabi is seeking a polished, attentive Butler to deliver highly personalized, discreet service to our residents and guests. You will anticipate needs, build relationships, and coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping and more to ensure every detail is flawless during their stay.

The ideal candidate has luxury hospitality experience, exceptional communication skills, and a professional, discreet demeanor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Butler or Concierge in luxury hospitality.
• Experience in luxury hotel or serviced residence is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly personalized and discreet service to residents and guests.
• Welcome residents and guests and assist with arrival/departure.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Security to fulfill requests.
• Anticipate needs and arrange services to ensure seamless experience.
• Maintain grooming and service standards at all times.
• Handle confidential information professionally.

We are currently looking for a polished, attentive, and service-driven Butler to join our team at InterContinental Residences Abu Dhabi.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

As a Butler, you will provide highly personalized and discreet service to our residents and guests, anticipating their needs and ensuring every aspect of their experience is handled with care and attention to detail. You will build genuine relationships with residents, understand their individual preferences, and coordinate closely with different departments to deliver seamless service throughout their stay.

• Providing personalized and attentive service to residents and guests throughout their stay.
• Welcoming residents and guests warmly and assisting with arrival and departure arrangements.
• Building strong professional relationships with residents and becoming familiar with their individual preferences and requirements.
• Anticipating resident needs and proactively arranging services to create a seamless experience.
• Assisting with luggage, unpacking and packing requests, room or residence orientation, and other personal service requirements.
• Coordinating restaurant reservations, transportation, special occasions, deliveries, and other arrangements as requested.
• Liaising closely with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Security, and other departments to ensure requests are completed promptly.
• Following up on resident requests to ensure they have been completed to the expected standard.
• Handling confidential or sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
• Recognizing VIPs, long-stay residents, and returning guests and ensuring their preferences are communicated and delivered consistently.
• Responding to feedback or concerns professionally and taking ownership to ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution.
• Maintaining excellent knowledge of the Residences' facilities, services, dining options, and the local area.
• Supporting special occasions and personalized experiences, including birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations.
• Maintaining exceptional grooming, presentation, and service standards at all times.
• Demonstrating IHG values through genuine, respectful, and professional interactions with residents, guests, and colleagues.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience as a Butler, Guest Relations professional, Concierge, or in a similar luxury hospitality role.
• Experience within a luxury hotel, serviced residence, or high-end hospitality environment would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A warm, polished, professional, and discreet approach.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate guest and resident needs.
• A proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership when handling requests.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• The ability to remain calm, composed, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong understanding of luxury service standards and guest expectations.
• The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good command of English; additional languages would be an advantage.
