Job summary

InterContinental Abu Dhabi seeks a warm, polished Club Lounge Attendant to deliver elevated, personalized service within the Club Lounge. You will welcome guests, maintain ambience, and provide attentive F&B service across breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening offerings.

You will recognize VIPs and IHG One Rewards members, coordinate with multiple hotel teams, and ensure guest preferences are remembered and addressed. A professional appearance and flexibility with shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage service, Club Lounge, Executive Lounge, Guest Relations, or a similar guest-facing hospitality role.
• Experience in a luxury or international hotel environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, polished, confident, and professional personality.
• Genuine passion for creating personalized guest experiences.
• Good F&B knowledge and understanding of luxury service standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming Club InterContinental guests warmly and providing attentive, personalized service throughout their lounge experience.
• Recognizing returning guests, VIPs, and IHG One Rewards members and noting preferences.
• Providing professional Food & Beverage service during breakfast, afternoon refreshments, evening service, and other lounge offerings.
• Setting up and maintaining buffet displays, tables, service stations, and lounge areas to standard.
• Ensuring replenishment of food, beverages, glassware, and service items throughout service.
• Maintaining knowledge of offerings and ingredients to assist guests confidently.
• Anticipating guest needs and offering proactive assistance.
• Coordinating with Front Office, Guest Relations, Concierge, Housekeeping, Kitchen, and F&B teams to satisfy requests.
• Maintaining lounge cleanliness, presentation, and ambience throughout the day.
• Clearing and resetting tables and lounge areas promptly for a relaxed environment.

We are currently looking for a warm, polished, and service-oriented Club Lounge Attendant to join our team and deliver an elevated experience to our Club InterContinental guests.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

As a Club Lounge Attendant, you will play an important role in creating the exclusive and personalized experience our guests expect from Club Lounge. You will combine attentive Food & Beverage service with genuine guest engagement, ensuring every guest feels recognized, valued, and well looked after throughout their visit to the lounge.

From welcoming guests and assisting with their requests to delivering seamless breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening service, you will help create a comfortable and refined environment where exceptional service feels effortless.

• Welcoming Club InterContinental guests warmly and providing attentive, personalized service throughout their lounge experience.
• Recognizing returning guests, VIPs, and IHG One Rewards members and understanding their individual preferences wherever possible.
• Providing professional Food & Beverage service during breakfast, afternoon refreshments, evening service, and other Club Lounge offerings.
• Setting up and maintaining buffet displays, tables, service stations, and lounge areas according to established standards.
• Ensuring food, beverages, glassware, crockery, and other service items are replenished promptly throughout service.
• Maintaining excellent knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including ingredients and dietary information, to confidently assist guests.
• Anticipating guest needs and proactively offering assistance to create a seamless and personalized experience.
• Assisting guests with general enquiries regarding hotel facilities, restaurants, services, transportation, and local information.
• Communicating guest preferences, special occasions, dietary requirements, and requests to the relevant colleagues.
• Coordinating closely with Front Office, Guest Relations, Concierge, Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure guest requests are handled efficiently.
• Maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall ambience of the Club Lounge throughout the day.
• Ensuring tables and lounge areas are cleared, reset, and prepared promptly while maintaining a relaxed environment for guests.
• Handling guest feedback professionally and taking ownership to ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Supporting special arrangements for VIPs, celebrations, and other memorable occasions.
• Following all food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and responsible beverage service procedures.
• Maintaining professional grooming and presentation standards at all times.
• Demonstrating IHG values through genuine, thoughtful, and professional interactions with guests and colleagues.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage service, Club Lounge, Executive Lounge, Guest Relations, or a similar guest-facing hospitality role.
• Previous experience within a luxury or international hotel environment would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A warm, polished, confident, and professional personality.
• A genuine passion for creating personalized guest experiences.
• Good Food & Beverage knowledge and an understanding of luxury service standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize and remember guest preferences.
• A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate guest needs.The ability to multitask and remain calm and composed during busy service periods.
• A professional appearance and strong grooming standards.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages would be an advantage.
