Job summary

InterContinental Abu Dhabi is seeking an enthusiastic F&B Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. You will play a key role in delivering warm hospitality and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests.

As part of a dedicated team, you will welcome guests, take orders, provide menu information, maintain tables and service areas, and coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service. A professional appearance and guest-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage service role, preferably within a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional appearance and strong grooming standards.
• A positive, friendly, and guest-focused attitude.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• A willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the Food & Beverage operation.
• Good command of English; additional languages would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests warmly and assisting them with seating and dining requirements.
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and ensuring they are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
• Providing guests with information about menus, ingredients, promotions, and available dining options.
• Setting up and maintaining tables, service areas, and restaurant equipment according to established standards.
• Ensuring the restaurant and service areas remain clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift.
• Anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests to create a seamless dining experience.
• Handling guest feedback professionally and escalating concerns to the appropriate supervisor when required.
• Coordinating closely with the kitchen, bar, and other Food & Beverage colleagues to ensure smooth service.
• Following all food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and responsible service procedures.
• Supporting restaurant opening and closing duties as required.
• Assisting with special events, functions, and other Food & Beverage operations when needed.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

As an F&B Attendant, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. You will work closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to deliver professional, attentive, and efficient service while maintaining the high standards expected at InterContinental.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do:
