We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded Business Performance and Operations Specialist to support the performance and operational effectiveness of our wholesale business across the GCC. In this role, you will work closely with commercial teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to optimize business processes, analyze performance, support strategic decision‑making and enhance the experience of our wholesale partners.

Business Performance and Operations Specialist (m/f/o)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities

• Oversee key commercial processes, including purchase orders, open orders, stock ageing and overdue order follow‑ups.
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics and Finance to ensure smooth commercial operations and effective execution.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve operational efficiency and enhance the wholesale partner experience.
• Support Country Sales Managers in resolving operational challenges and customer‑related issues.

Turn business insights into action

• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, pricing and commercial performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor key commercial performance indicators, including Never Out of Stock (NOOS) performance and gaps against business targets.
• Support business planning, budgeting and regular commercial performance reviews.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that support business decisions.

Support financial performance & commercial planning

• Partner with Finance to analyse profitability, margins and overall commercial performance.
• Contribute to sales forecasting, financial planning and commercial evaluations.
• Develop business cases and commercial scenarios to support management decisions.
• Monitor commercial terms, financial securities and key financial timelines to support effective business operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within the GCC fashion industry, with a strong understanding of the regional wholesale business environment.
• Strong analytical skills combined with commercial awareness and the ability to translate data into practical business recommendations.
• Solid understanding of supply chain operations, wholesale distribution and commercial processes.
• Knowledge of key regional customers and an established network within the GCC fashion industry.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a structured, proactive and solution‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence working cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, Logistics, Technology and regional business teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and drive continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Excel and business reporting tools; experience with Power BI or similar analytics platforms would be an advantage.
