The Business Development Representative (BDR) reports to the Managing Director for Middle-East and Africa and works very closely with the sales, pre-sales and marketing teams. Your role would be fundamental, concentrating on the MEA market. This role offers excellent opportunities for career development with a focus on honing skills to transition into a Sales Manager role.
The primary responsibilities of the BDR are to target, build intelligence and engage with key personas in the region with a remit to identify new business opportunities for the sales team. This person will be responsible for interacting and qualifying new prospects, primarily by phone, social media and email but could extend to face to face meetings. The candidate will also monitor government and public sector industries for tenders that are issued.
