Job summary

EXERGY, a well established industrial engineering and maintenance services provider, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager based in Abu Dhabi to win long-term Maintenance and O&M contracts across the GCC.

You will identify opportunities early, build relationships at decision-maker level, and convert them into multi-year recurring contracts, ideally 3 to 5 years or longer, traveling across the region and coordinating with operations, estimation and proposals teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in BD or Sales in Oil & Gas, Industrial Services, Maintenance or Energy.
• Proven track record securing long term maintenance or O&M contracts.
• Strong network with decision makers across GCC industrial and O&G markets.
• Understanding of tendering and procurement for major industrial clients.

Responsibilities

• Build a pipeline of long term maintenance and O&M opportunities across GCC.
• Develop senior relationships with asset owners, EPCs, PMC contractors, and major clients.
• Convert engagements into long term service agreements.
• Lead opportunities from early engagement to contract award with ops, estimation, proposals teams.
• Track market intelligence on tenders, renewals, and competitor activity.

We are working with a well established industrial engineering and maintenance services provider, operating across Asia Pacific and the Middle East for over three decades, supporting major operators in energy, petrochemical, power and other asset intensive sectors with shutdowns, turnarounds, catalyst handling and plant maintenance work.

They are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to be based in Abu Dhabi, focused on winning long term Maintenance and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contracts across the GCC.

This is not a tender response role. You will be expected to identify and influence opportunities early, build relationships at decision maker level, and convert them into multi year recurring contracts, ideally 3 to 5 years or longer.

Role Scope:

• Building a pipeline of long term maintenance and O&M opportunities across Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain
• Developing senior relationships with asset owners, EPC and PMC contractors, and major industrial clients
• Converting existing shutdown or project based engagements into long term service agreements
• Leading opportunities from early engagement through to contract award, working closely with operations, estimation and proposals teams
• Tracking market intelligence on tenders, contract renewals and competitor activity across the region

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Business Development or Sales experience within Oil & Gas, Industrial Services, Maintenance or Energy
• A proven track record of securing long term maintenance or O&M contracts, not just project or shutdown work
• Strong existing network with decision makers across the GCC industrial and O&G market
• Solid understanding of tendering and procurement processes for major industrial clients
• Background with a comparable industrial services organisation is highly advantageous
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region
