Job summary

Ventures Middle East is seeking a seasoned Business Continuity Manager to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of the organization's BCM framework. The role requires coordinating with IT and other departments to ensure effective recovery strategies, training, and regular testing of plans.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six years in BCM, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of ISO 22301, Clearview, and Castellan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in Business Continuity Management.
• In-depth knowledge of BCM frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 22301).
• Proficiency with BCM solutions such as Clearview and Castellan.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in BCM (e.g., CBCI) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's BCM framework.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Regularly review and update BCM policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and BIAs to identify threats and impacts.
• Collaborate with departments to gather data and analyze critical functions.
• Customize and optimize BCM tools to meet organization needs.
• Develop and maintain BCPs and DRPs.
• Coordinate with IT to ensure recovery strategies.
• Conduct BCM training and awareness programs for staff.
• Plan and execute regular testing of BCPs and DRPs.
• Evaluate effectiveness of plans and identify improvements.
• Serve as a key incident response team member during disruptions.
• Coordinate response activities and communications for swift recovery.
• Monitor and review BCM performance metrics.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
