Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology delivery across enterprise digital transformation initiatives. You will work with Product Owners, Project Managers, Tech Leads, UX, and development teams through discovery, requirements, testing, deployment, and adoption.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in business analysis within digital transformation, with strong elicitation, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of BA experience in digital transformation, app development, or enterprise tech.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and outcomes.
• Plan and conduct discovery sessions and requirements gathering.
• Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and manage requirements (functional and non-functional).
• Create BRDs, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
• Translate business needs into testable requirements for delivery teams.
• Perform current/future-state analysis, gap/impact assessments, and process improvement.
• Prioritize product backlog with Product Owners based on value and dependencies.
• Confirm feasibility with Tech Leads and Solution Architects.
• Support UX by defining user needs, journeys, personas, and pain points.
• Maintain traceability and manage changes in scope and decisions.
• Assist QA with test scenarios, UAT, and release readiness.
• Prepare status updates, dashboards, and governance materials.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology delivery across enterprise digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will engage stakeholders, analyze processes, define clear requirements, and support delivery teams in implementing practical, user-focused, and measurable solutions.

The Business Analyst will work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Technical Leads, UX teams, developers, testers, and business stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle, from discovery and requirements definition through testing, deployment, and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, operating processes, and desired outcomes.
• Plan and facilitate discovery workshops, interviews, process walkthroughs, and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Create business requirements documents, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, process maps, and supporting analysis.
• Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements for technical and delivery teams.
• Perform current-state and future-state analysis, gap assessment, impact analysis, and process improvement studies.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and delivery dependencies.
• Work with Technical Leads and Solution Architects to confirm requirement feasibility and alignment with the target solution.
• Support UX and service design activities by defining user needs, journeys, personas, pain points, and expected outcomes.
• Maintain requirements traceability and manage changes to scope, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to review test scenarios, support user acceptance testing, and validate delivered functionality.
• Support release readiness, stakeholder communications, training inputs, operational handover, and post implementation review.
• Identify business risks, issues, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, and elevate them through the appropriate governance channels.
• Prepare clear presentations, status updates, dashboards, and decision materials for business and project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within digital transformation, application development, or enterprise technology programs.
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to develop user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, business rules, and requirement traceability matrices.
• Practical experience with Agile and Scrum delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Good understanding of system integrations, REST APIs, data flows, user interfaces, and enterprise application concepts.
• Experience supporting user acceptance testing, defect clarification, release readiness, and business sign-off.
• Proficiency with tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office, and collaboration platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with limited supervision, and operate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in government digital services, customer portals, mobile applications, or large-scale service transformation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, CRM, workflow automation, and integration-led solutions.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, dashboards, or business intelligence platforms.
• Understanding of business process management, service design, change management, and benefits realization.
• Professional certification such as IIBA CBAP/CCBA, PMI-PBA, BCS Business Analysis, Scrum Product Owner, or equivalent.
