Job summary

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi seeks a decisive Bus Team Leader to oversee bus operations, lead drivers, and ensure safety and efficiency. You will coordinate routes, schedule daily services, conduct safety inspections, and maintain records while guiding and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service in a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in bus operations or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience with excellent team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of bus operations and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Familiarity with the public transportation industry in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates.
• Experience in bus fleet management.
• Thorough understanding of local safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in English knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate bus operations ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Lead and manage a team of bus drivers with guidance and feedback.
• Coordinate route assignments and scheduling on a daily basis.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain records.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for vehicle upkeep.
• Prepare and submit reports on team performance and operations metrics.
