AECOM in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Civil Inspector – Bridges/Tunnels to join our infrastructure project team. You will inspect and monitor bridge and tunnel construction, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, relevant bridge/tunnel inspection experience, and ability to read drawings. UAE experience is preferred; on-site work with cross-discipline coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Experience in bridge and tunnel construction inspection.
• Experience with major infrastructure projects and quality documentation.

Aufgaben

• Inspect bridge works including foundations, piling, piers, decks, joints and bearings.
• Inspect tunnel works including excavation, concrete, waterproofing and drainage.
• Review IRs, shop drawings, method statements and material approvals.
• Monitor concrete work and perform slump tests, cube tests and related quality checks.
• Coordinate with surveyors to verify setting-out and as-built information.
• Maintain inspection records and daily site reports.
• Ensure proper sequencing by coordinating with Resident Engineer and contractors.
