Job summary

Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas is seeking a passionate BMS Operator to supervise and control the building management system for the headquarters building services. You will monitor plant activities, analyze performance, and propose improvements for efficiency and cost reductions.

The role requires a degree in BMS/mechanical engineering, strong fault-finding skills, andproficiency in English. You will work in a dynamic, high-pressure hotel environment focused on exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Degree in BMS mechanical engineering or related field; experience in operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Good command of English and the ability to fault-find and rectify subsystems are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for implementation and follow-up.
• Analyze plant behavior against set points and adjust control parameters.
• Audit plant performance daily using BMS data logging, plant review and alarm status.
• Analyze reasons of plant failures and propose remedial actions for supervisor approval.
• Use historical data to review system and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Program BMS and PPM systems and other plants for automatic periodic testing.
