Job summary

NAFFCO in Dubai is seeking a skilled BMS Commissioning Engineer to lead the commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and handover of Building Management Systems on live projects. You will ensure installations operate efficiently and meet project specs, drawings, and client requirements.

The role requires 3–7 years of BMS experience, familiarity with BACnet/Modbus/KNX/LonWorks, and hands-on work with controllers, field devices, and graphical interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in BMS commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with BMS platforms, controllers, field devices, HVAC controls, and GUIs.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, control sequences, and building automation principles.
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus, KNX, or LonWorks preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read BMS drawings and technical documents.
• UAE/GCC project experience preferred.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and functional verification of BMS.
• Configure and commission BMS controllers, field devices, sensors, and related software.
• Verify BMS points, graphics, sequences, alarms, and schedules per project requirements.
• Conduct FAT, SAT, and client demonstrations.
• Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and handover documents.
• Provide technical support during project execution and warranty periods.
• Ensure compliance with schedules, quality, and HSE standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth commissioning activities.
