Grupo Bio Holding is seeking a BIM Specialist/Coordinator in Dubai to drive Building Information Modeling initiatives across architecture, structural, and MEP disciplines. You will develop, maintain, and optimize BIM models using industry-standard tools and coordinate design information to reflect project requirements.
Ideal candidates will perform clash detection, support BIM standards and information management, and collaborate with project teams to improve efficiency and reduce rework
We are seeking detail-oriented and technically proficient professionals for the positions of BIM Specialist / BIM Coordinator. These roles focus on Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital construction workflows, model coordination, and the effective management of project information throughout the design and construction lifecycle. Successful candidates will help improve design accuracy, facilitate collaboration between project teams, identify potential conflicts, and support the delivery of coordinated building and infrastructure projects.
BIM Specialists are responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing digital building models using BIM software and established modeling standards. Key duties include creating and updating 3D models, incorporating architectural, structural, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) information, preparing technical drawings, and maintaining accurate model data. They support design development, model documentation, quantity extraction, visualization, and the implementation of BIM standards. BIM Specialists also assist with model quality checks, data consistency, digital workflow improvements, and the preparation of project deliverables. They collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and construction teams to ensure models accurately reflect design requirements and project specifications.
BIM Coordinators focus on coordinating models and information across multiple disciplines to ensure consistency and minimize design conflicts. Responsibilities include managing model exchanges, conducting clash detection, reviewing coordination issues, maintaining coordination records, and facilitating communication between project stakeholders. They organize coordination meetings, track outstanding issues, monitor model updates, and help ensure that project teams follow agreed BIM execution plans and information management procedures. BIM Coordinators may also support common data environment management, model review processes, drawing coordination, and the resolution of technical discrepancies before construction activities begin.
Both positions require strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and effective communication. Professionals in these roles contribute to improved design coordination, reduced rework, better information management, and more efficient project delivery.
