Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a BIM Operator in the United Arab Emirates to create, update, and manage Building Information Models using Autodesk Revit. You will support architectural, structural, and MEP design teams to ensure accuracy, standards and BEP compliance.

Responsibilities include developing 3D models, generating drawings and schedules, maintaining version control, and assisting with clash detection using Navisworks.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
• BIM software certification (Autodesk Revit) required.
• 2–4 years of BIM experience in construction or design projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks; Dynamo or BIM 360 a plus.

Job description

The BIM Operator is responsible for creating, updating, and managing Building Information Models using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit. This role supports the design and coordination process across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage 3D models using Revit and other BIM tools.
  
• Generate drawings, schedules, and documentation from BIM models.
  
• Ensure models meet project standards, specifications, and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
  
• Collaborate with design teams and attend coordination meetings as required.
  
• Maintain version control and proper documentation for all BIM files.
  
• Support clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or similar software.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Certified in BIM software tools such as Autodesk Revit (Mandatory).
  
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant BIM experience in construction/design projects.
  
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; knowledge of Dynamo or BIM 360 is a plus.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  

Preferred

• Understanding of ISO 19650 BIM standards.
  
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams or large-scale infrastructure projects.
