Parsons is seeking a BIM Site-Based Engineer in Abu Dhabi to support the BIM Manager during construction. You will review contractor submissions, coordinate models for roads and utilities, and ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards.

You will conduct site inspections, resolve coordination issues, and prepare compliance reports while working closely with contractors and project teams on infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of infrastructure/construction experience, with 2+ years BIM.
• Experience reviewing contractor BIM submissions on roads, earthworks, utilities.
• Knowledge of roads, drainage, lighting, and utilities coordination.
• Proficiency in BIM tools: Civil 3D, Navisworks, Revit, ACC.
• Understanding of BIM Execution Plans, MIDP/TIDP reviews, CDE workflows.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 and BIM quality assurance processes.
• Strong model review, coordination, reporting and stakeholder skills.
• Ability to work independently on-site and coordinate with teams.

Responsabilités

• Review contractor BIM Execution Plans and model submissions for compliance.
• Monitor BIM implementation and information exchanges against milestones.
• Coordinate BIM models for roads, earthworks, drainage, and utilities.
• Verify model accuracy against design docs and site conditions.
• Identify clashes and BIM-related nonconformances.
• Review federated models, COBie data, asset registers, and handover docs.
• Conduct site inspections to verify progress and as-built info.
• Support resolution of design and construction coordination issues.
• Prepare BIM review comments, compliance reports, and quality assessments.
• Track observations and corrective actions through to closure.
• Assist BIM Manager with handover information management.
