Job summary

Parsons is seeking a BIM Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You will create and manage 3D BIM models for wet utility networks using Civil 3D and related software, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project standards.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve clashes, develop utility structures, and prepare model submissions at key milestones. Strong BIM workflow knowledge and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and updating 3D BIM models for wet utilities.
• Ability to identify clashes and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with BIM execution plans and data management practices.

Responsibilities

• Create and update 3D BIM models for wet utility systems using Civil 3D or other BIM software.
• Model potable water, irrigation, stormwater and sewer networks.
• Develop utility structures such as manholes, chambers, tanks, and pump stations.
• Maintain model accuracy in line with design revisions and BEP/ project standards.
• Generate plans and profiles from BIM models and ensure drawings comply with CAD/BIM standards.
• Coordinate with roads, structures, buildings, landscape and dry utilities to resolve clashes.
