Job summary

Parsons in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking a Junior BIM Engineer to support BIM implementation and coordinated digital delivery on major infrastructure projects. Working under the BIM Coordinator, you will contribute to model development, drawing production, information management, and quality checks.

The role uses Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and BIM 360 to develop and maintain accurate project information, align with standards, and support clash detection and federated models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Architectural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of BIM, Revit, CAD experience.
• Proficiency in current versions of Revit and ability to update drawings.
• Fundamental understanding of BIM workflows and modeling standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• BIM Modeling and Drawing Production - Use Revit for 3D modeling and model-based workflows.
• Revit Project Development - Set up and manage Revit project files and families.
• BIM Standards and Information Management - Support BIM procedures and ISO 19650 awareness.
• Coordination and Model Quality - Assist with clash detection and model validation.
• Digital Delivery and Asset Information - Support model-based scheduling and COBie familiarity.
• Software and Technical Tools - Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, BIM 360, and Dynamo.
