Job summary

Parsons in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Civil 3D BIM Modeler to support model-based delivery for roads and highways projects. You will develop Civil 3D content, maintain libraries, perform clash detection, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and timely issuance.

The role requires advanced Civil 3D proficiency, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work within Common Data Environment workflows on complex infrastructure projects in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or three-year Diploma in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of Civil 3D experience.
• In-depth working knowledge of current Civil 3D versions.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Demonstrated ability to establish new Civil 3D project files for project teams.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Ability to create Civil 3D families and objects according to project requirements.
• Ability to maintain Civil 3D standards and object libraries.
• Experience performing clash detection.
• Strong computer skills.
• Experience producing working drawings using Civil 3D.
• Advanced knowledge of Civil 3D parametric functionality.
• Experience with assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Ability to generate Bills of Material and other model-derived information.
• Experience creating and working with federated models.
• Knowledge of shared coordinate workflows.
• Roads and highways project experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with project policies and delivery requirements.
• Support BIM requirements from startup through completion.
• Coordinate with CAD teams to manage design inputs and clashes.
• Develop drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Review drawings for readability and standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design information.
• Produce schedules and quantity information from models.
