Job summary

Client of Career Raiser is seeking a BIM Senior Architect in Dubai to lead BIM implementation, ensuring compliant, BIM-enabled projects while growing in-house capabilities. You will oversee consultants, assist with proposals, and train staff across the technical group.

The role requires a architecture degree with 3-5 years of BIM experience and strong people-management and interpersonal skills to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires tertiary degree in Architecture and 3-5 years of relevant BIM experience.
• Experience as BIM Manager with strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM implementation across projects in accordance with Local Authorities and client requirements.
• Develop in-house BIM capability across the technical group and define staff roles for BIM-related tasks.
• Assist with consultant proposals and manage BIM-related delivery of project designs.
• Provide BIM training to staff according to their involvement level.
• Directly supervise BIM team members and ensure deliverables meet standards.

Responsibilities

The BIM Senior Architect is required to manage and develop the Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation for the client in the technical group. This will involve ensuring design consultants deliver BIM-enabled projects in accordance with Local Authorities and client requirements, as well as developing in-house BIM capability across the technical group considering the various roles and responsibilities of the staff on projects. The BIM Senior Architect will also need to assist with preparing consultant proposals and managing the BIM-related delivery of the design of various projects. The BIM Senior Architect will be responsible for the BIM training of staff appropriate to their level of involvement with BIM. The BIM Senior Architect will also be directly responsible for any BIM team members under their direct reporting responsibility.

Qualifications

The BIM Senior Architect should have recent solid experience as a BIM Senior Architect with one of the international consultants and sound technical capabilities and knowledge in BIM platforms and software. A tertiary degree in Architecture is required, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience and recent solid experience as a BIM Manager. The candidate should possess strong people-management skills and strong interpersonal skills.
