Job summary

Our client, a leading international architectural and design practice, seeks an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM excellence across Architecture, Structural, MEP, and Interior Design disciplines. You will oversee BIM implementation, standards, training, and project delivery, shaping BIM strategies and coordinating with clients and partners on complex projects.

The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, driving BIM adoption, clash prevention, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Proven experience in BIM Manager or senior BIM leadership within multi-disciplinary design practices.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards, BEPs, coordination workflows and project execution planning.
• Excellent communication with clients and senior stakeholders; able to influence teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) across all projects.
• Lead discussions and negotiate BIM requirements with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Establish and implement BIM strategies across internal disciplines for consistency and best practice.
• Define BIM requirements and coordination procedures for external consultants and partners.
• Monitor BIM delivery and compliance across live projects.
• Conduct regular clash detection reviews on federated models and coordinate issue resolution.
• Prepare and issue weekly BIM status reports for teams and senior leadership.
• Produce BIM progress and compliance reports for clients per contractual obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement of BIM standards, workflows, and digital delivery processes.
• Deliver ongoing BIM training, mentoring, and technical support to multidisciplinary teams.
• Act as BIM subject matter expert and champion digital innovation across the practice.

Our client is a leading international architectural and design practice delivering complex high-profile projects across multiple sectors and geographies. As the business continues to grow they are seeking an experienced and commercially minded BIM Manager to lead and develop BIM excellence across their multi-disciplinary design teams. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing BIM implementation, standards, coordination, training, and project delivery across Architecture, Structural Engineering, MEP, and Interior Design disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in a BIM Manager or Senior BIM leadership position within a multi-disciplinary consultancy or design practice
• Strong experience working across Architecture, Structural, MEP, and Interior Design disciplines
• Demonstrable experience delivering large-scale, complex developments
• Advanced knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, coordination workflows, and project execution planning
• Strong clash detection and model federation experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage directly with clients and senior stakeholders
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to influence teams and drive BIM adoption across a diverse project portfolio
• Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach

Desirable

• Previous experience working in the UAE or wider Middle East region
• Current presence in the UAE would be advantageous
• Experience working on international projects and within globally recognised design practices
