Job summary

OIL & GAS TRAINING CENTER is seeking BIM Specialist / Planning Engineer professionals to enhance project coordination, planning, and data management. The roles focus on digital modeling, 3D coordination, and model-based documentation to improve delivery efficiency and project control.

Responsibilities include developing BIM models, integrating architectural, structural, and MEP information, detecting clashes, and maintaining BIM standards while supporting schedule development and resource

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Understanding of construction processes, drawings, project documentation, and coordination procedures.
• Familiarity with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar modeling platforms.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret drawings, analyze project information, and identify coordination or scheduling issues.
• Understanding of construction planning, critical path analysis, progress tracking, and resource allocation.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, model coordination, quality control, and project reporting procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and coordinate BIM data and digital models across the project lifecycle.
• Create/update 3D models and integrate architectural, structural, and MEP information.
• Identify design clashes and maintain model accuracy; resolve coordination issues with stakeholders.
• Support quantity extraction, construction visualization, and model-based documentation.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and project teams to ensure data quality.
