Job summary

Consultant HSS seeks an experienced Mechanical BIM Engineer in Dubai to develop and maintain 3D BIM models for HVAC systems, including ductwork and piping. You will prepare detailed shop drawings and construction docs, and coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams to ensure clash-free models.

Responsibilities include clash detection, model accuracy, and extracting quantities and schedules from BIM models, while adhering to UAE standards and project BIM execution

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical BIM modeling expertise with HVAC focus.
• 7+ years of experience in BIM coordination and modeling.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for HVAC systems including ductwork chilled water piping ventilation and related mechanical services Prepare HVAC shop drawings coordinated layouts sections elevations and construction documentation Coordinate mechanical models with architectural structural electrical plumbing and other MEP disciplines Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using BIM coordination tools Ensure model accuracy consistency and compliance with project specifications and BIM execution plans Extract quantities schedules and other required project information from BIM models Incorporate design revisions and coordination comments into models and drawings Collaborate with mechanical engineers BIM coordinators and project teams to meet project deadlines Follow relevant UAE authority requirements project standards and applicable building codes

Qualifications and Requirements

strong Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred Minimum strong 7 years of experience strong in mechanical BIM modeling with strong hands-on experience in HVAC systems Proficiency in strong Autodesk Revit MEP strong is essential Experience with AutoCAD and Navisworks for drawing production model coordination and clash detection Good understanding of HVAC systems duct sizing chilled water piping ventilation layouts and mechanical equipment Familiarity with MEP coordination practices and BIM workflows in building projects.Knowledge of UAE construction standards, authority requirements, and consultancy project deliverables is an advantage.Ability to work independently, coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and meet project deadlines.Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
