Job summary

Confidential Construction is seeking an experienced BIM Manager (MEP) to lead BIM delivery for large-scale projects in the UAE. You will coordinate MEP disciplines, develop BEPs, and drive clash detection and constructability reviews across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a strong MEP background, 10+ years of BIM experience and 5 years in a leadership BIM position, with prior Tier 1 contractor exposure in the UAE/GCC. On-site coordination and governance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of BIM experience within the construction industry.
• 5 years in a BIM Manager / Senior BIM Lead position.
• Proven experience with Tier 1 Main Contractors in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong MEP background with experience in commercial buildings, hospitality, mixed-use developments, airports, healthcare or large infrastructure projects.
• Extensive experience in MEP clash detection, coordination, and constructability reviews.
• Expert proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360/ACC, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage BIM implementation for all MEP disciplines.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project BIM standards.
• Oversee MEP model development, validation, and coordination.
• Conduct clash detection workshops and ensure timely resolution of coordination issues.
• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, ICT, Security, and BMS systems.
• Manage BIM deliverables in accordance with client and project requirements.
• Work closely with Engineering, Design, Planning, Commercial, and Construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and company standards.
• Monitor BIM KPIs, model quality, and project milestones.
• Support 4D planning, digital construction, and project visualization initiatives.
• Mentor and develop BIM Engineers and BIM Coordinators.

We are looking for an experienced BIM Manager (MEP) with a strong background working for Tier 1 Main Contractors in the UAE/GCC. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience managing BIM delivery for large-scale building projects, ensuring seamless coordination between Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, ELV, Fire Fighting, and specialist systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum 10+ years of BIM experience within the construction industry.

Minimum 5 years in a BIM Manager / Senior BIM Lead position.

Proven experience with Tier 1 Main Contractors in the UAE/GCC.

Strong MEP background with experience in:

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
