Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced BIM Manager with direct infrastructure project experience (roads, utilities, rail, and bridges) to join our Dubai team. This role focuses on wet and dry utilities and roadway design, requiring extensive expertise in Civil 3D, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Dynamo.

The BIM Manager will provide technical leadership, develop BIM Execution Plans, implement CDE governance, and drive innovative workflows to improve project delivery across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years professional experience.
• Delivery of infrastructure BIM in accordance with ISO 19650.
• Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and Navisworks.
• Proven ability to lead coordination and model review sessions.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager with strong, direct experience working on infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, rail, and bridges) to join our team. This role focuses on wet and dry utilities and roadway design and requires extensive expertise in Civil 3D, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Dynamo (Civil 3D nodes).

The BIM Manager will provide technical support to the infrastructure modelling team, lead coordination meetings, perform clash detection, and develop Dynamo automation scripts to enhance project efficiency. The role also covers the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans, information delivery plans, and Common Data Environment (CDE) governance, ensuring that project information is managed consistently from design through handover.

As part of the role, the successful candidate will be required to regularly review and improve BIM delivery workflows and stay up to date with industry innovations and best practices to maximise project delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Digital delivery and standards

• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), EIR responses, and MIDP/TIDP in line with ISO 19650 and project requirements.
• Set up and manage the CDE in ACC, including folder structures, permissions, naming conventions, and approval workflows.
• Define and monitor model quality standards, including LOD/LOIN, model checking, and audit routines.
• Ensure compliance with client and authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Municipality, RTA) for BIM deliverables and information exchange.

Leadership

• Lead and mentor the infrastructure modelling team, providing day-to-day technical guidance and support.
• Develop and deliver training on BIM standards, tools, and workflows.
• Develop, maintain, and roll out BIM standards, templates, and best practices across projects.
• Act as the main BIM point of contact for clients, authorities, and project stakeholders.
• Lead coordination meetings and model review sessions across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with proven expertise in delivering infrastructure projects using BIM in accordance with ISO 19650 standards.
• Advanced knowledge of Civil 3D and Navisworks.
• Strong expertise in ACC and understanding of its processes.
• Proficient in Dynamo for Civil 3D, including developing scripts for automation and process improvements.
• Proven ability to lead coordination meetings, manage interdisciplinary teams, and facilitate model review sessions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information and collaborate across teams.
