Job summary

EC Consult Engineering Consultants is seeking an experienced BIM Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead BIM implementation and multidisciplinary coordination. You will drive quality, timelines, and deliverables for complex projects while guiding a team of BIM coordinators and modellers.

The role requires strong expertise in Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, with UAE project exposure preferred and leadership skills to coordinate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3 years in BIM management or a leadership role.
• Proven experience delivering multidisciplinary BIM within an engineering consultancy.

WE ARE HIRING: BIM MANAGER

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE | Engineering Consultancy Office

We are looking for an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM implementation, manage multidisciplinary coordination, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of digital project information.

Job Responsibilities

• Establish and manage company BIM standards, templates, workflows, and quality-control procedures.
• Prepare and maintain BIM Execution Plans in line with client information requirements and project deliverables.
• Lead BIM coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Manage federated models, clash detection, issue tracking, and coordination meetings.
• Define model responsibilities, information requirements, and delivery milestones for each project stage.
• Oversee model quality, drawing consistency, naming conventions, shared coordinates, and required levels of detail and information.
• Manage project information within the Common Data Environment, including revisions, reviews, and document status.
• Coordinate BIM deliverables with clients, consultants, contractors, and specialist teams.
• Train and support BIM coordinators, engineers, and modellers.
• Monitor BIM resources and delivery schedules, improve workflows, and support BIM-related tender and proposal submissions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3 years in BIM management or a comparable leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary BIM delivery within an engineering consultancy.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and Navisworks Manage.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, or a comparable Common Data Environment.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 principles, BIM Execution Plans, information management, and model coordination.
• Practical knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP workflows and their interfaces.
• Experience delivering UAE projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Dynamo, automation, model auditing, or other BIM productivity tools is an advantage.
