Job summary

Parsons is seeking a BIM CAD Technician for drainage infrastructure in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on BIM modeling, CAD drafting, stormwater drainage, wet utilities, clash detection, quantity extraction, and coordinated infrastructure design.

The candidate will support drainage engineering teams with accurate models, drawings, schedules, and digital deliverables while adhering to project QA-QC standards. Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with 5+ years of CAD drafting experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; 5+ years CAD drafting in MEA/UAE.
• Experience delivering CAD/BIM documentation for wet utility infrastructure.
• Proficiency in MicroStation, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Support drainage and wet utility design with BIM/CAD deliverables.
• Develop drawings from sketches, calculations and technical info.
• Produce layouts, isometrics, and component details per standards.
• Coordinate models with civil, structural, and utility disciplines.
• Use Navisworks to identify clashes and contribute to resolution.
• Manage BIM activities from project startup through completion.
