Job summary

Aldar Hospitality invites applications for a Beach Operations Supervisor at Mamsha Beach. You will plan, promote, supervise, and administer swimming lessons and lifeguard activities, ensuring safety and high standards of cleanliness and operation.

In this role you will coordinate with the Security Supervisor to enforce facility policies, manage daily records, and develop engaging beach activities and services for guests, with weekends and holidays as standard shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Recreation, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in beach operations, recreation, or hospitality.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of beach safety, water activities, and guest service standards.
• First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physically active tasks.
• Flexible with working hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
• Outdoor work environment in beach and waterfront areas.
• Exposure to sun, heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions.
• Shift-based work including weekends and holidays.
• Problem-solving and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and schedule beach attendants, lifeguards, and other staff to ensure smooth operations, high service standards, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner, resolving issues to maximize guest satisfaction and positive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, regulations, and beach rules, conduct routine safety checks, and collaborate with lifeguards to monitor beach conditions and respond to emergencies.
• Track and manage inventory for beach supplies and equipment, place orders as necessary, and ensure the availability of essential items for both guests and staff.
• Work closely with other related service providers to provide seamless beach services.
• Maintain records of daily operations, incidents, and guest interactions; prepare reports for management as needed.
• Develop and implement new ideas for beach activities, special events, and services to enrich guest experiences.
