Job summary

SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences seeks a professional bartender to join our luxury F&B team in Downtown Dubai. You will set up and break down the bar, keep glassware polished and inventory accurate, and ensure beverage presentation meets the hotel’s high standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 1–2 years in a public-facing role in an upscale setting, and strong English communication. You must multitask in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with management and other departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous bar operation is must.
• 1–2 years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
• Maintain positive and productive relationships with colleagues and departments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown the bar.
• Wash and polish all glassware.
• Ensure consistent beverage preparation, presentation and quality.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and health and safety standards.
• Stock bar to par levels.
• Understand the operational set up of the restaurant, lounge and bar.
• Maintain knowledge of all beverage menus.
• Provide friendly, courteous and professional service.
• Communicate effectively with Management.
• Maintain knowledge of Food menu items.
• Prepare and check tables before service.
• Clear and reset tables and uphold product and service procedures.

Job Description

• Set up and breakdown the bar

• Ensure that bar is stocked to par levels
• Understand the operational set up and principle of the Restaurant, lounge, and bar

• Provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
• Ensure good communication with Management
• Maintain complete knowledge of all Food menu items
• Prepare and check tables before service
• Clear and reset tablesHave thorough knowledge of all product and service procedures
