Job summary

Legends Global teams operate at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, delivering exceptional coffee experiences at concerts, sports events, and corporate functions. The successful candidate will prepare and serve coffee, maintain equipment, and support sales through product knowledge and upselling, within a fast-paced arena environment.

Open to UAE National applicants, freelancer agreement, with own visa/sponsorship. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Barista training or coffee preparation certification is desirable.
• Food Safety, HACCP, or relevant food handling certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, specialty beverages, teas, and other menu items according to Aroma Coffee standards.
• Delivering exceptional guest service and creating positive experiences at concerts, sports events, and corporate functions.
• Operating and maintaining espresso machines and other coffee equipment safely and efficiently.
• Supporting sales growth through product knowledge, upselling, and promotional recommendations.
• Maintaining cleanliness, food safety, hygiene, and presentation across all coffee stations.
• Assisting with stock control, inventory management, waste reduction and operational readiness.
• Collaborating with the Food & Beverage team to support event delivery at Coca-Cola Arena.
• Adapting to a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining service excellence.

This role involves

• Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, specialty beverages, teas, and other menu items in accordance with Aroma Coffee brand standards.

• Delivering exceptional guest service and creating positive customer experiences during concerts, sporting events, corporate functions, and daily operations.

• Operating and maintaining espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other coffee equipment safely and efficiently.

• Supporting sales growth through product knowledge, upselling, and promotional recommendations.

• Maintaining cleanliness, food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards across all coffee stations and service areas.

• Assisting with stock control, inventory management, waste reduction, and operational readiness.

• Working collaboratively with the wider Food & Beverage team to support successful event delivery across Coca-Cola Arena.

• Adapting to a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining service excellence and product consistency.

You should have:

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Barista training or coffee preparation certification is desirable.

• Food Safety, HACCP, or relevant food handling certification is advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Barista, Café, Coffee Shop, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage service role.

• Previous experience operating espresso machines and preparing specialty coffee beverages.

• Previous experience in the UAE, preferable in the event industry.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Fluent in English.

• Arabic is a plus.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements

• Strong customer service and guest engagement skills.

• Good knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, milk texturing, espresso extraction, and beverage presentation.

• Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.

• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, HACCP principles, and allergen awareness.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
