Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a Barback to join the Netsu - Bar team, supporting the bar’s operations in a luxury setting.

With a minimum of two years in a five-star hotel, you will organize stations, prepare garnishes and maintain glassware, while delivering attentive guest service and upholding MO policies.

Arabic language skills are preferred and MO benefits await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High School qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a 5-star luxury hotel.
• Proven customer service and ability to deliver superior guest experiences.
• Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced outdoor bar environment.
• Knowledge of bar operations is required.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office are a plus.
• Arabic language skills are preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Organize and shelve beverages before opening of the bar.
• Prepare juices, mixes and garnishes needed for service.
• Monitor stations and restock items as needed.
• Wipe glassware, utensils and equipment.
• Adhere to MO policies and code of conduct.
