Mandarin Oriental Jumeira invites applications for Barback Netsu - Bar. You will organize and stock beverages, prepare juices and garnishes, and ensure a clean, well‑stocked bar during service in a luxury hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has a High School qualification, at least two years in a 5‑star hotel, strong guest service and teamwork skills, and the ability to work long hours in a hot outdoor setting; Arabic language skills are a plus, and basic MS Office knowledge is helpful.

As Barback Netsu - Bar

you will be responsible for the following duties

• It is part of your role to understand and comply with all corporate and hotel policies and standard operating procedures MO Code of Conduct requires that all business activities and business decisions comply with the general law with all rules regulations and other requirements
• Organizing and shelving beverages before opening of the bar
• Preparing juices, other mixes and garnishes needed for the operation
• Monitoring the stations and re-stocking items as needed
• Wiping glassware, utensils and equipment needed for the operation
• You shall take all reasonable steps to safeguard stored information and not divulge or otherwise transfer any personal data concerning the guests, customers or colleagues or any confidential information concerning the hotel unless with the appropriate authority
• Use of the hotel s network, computers or internet access which is in the hotel s view unreasonable or inappropriate for example gambling, chatroom or pornographic material is a serious breach of hotel policy and grounds for summary dismissal
• Support and adhere to all policies and procedures relating to Safe Sound and Sustainable at Mandarin Oriental
• Ensure compliance with the MO Social Media Policy i e to be fully responsible for the content you publish on any social media platform including your personal site

• Act as a hotel ambassador at all times

As Barback Netsu - Bar we expect from you

• High School qualification or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a 5-star luxury hotel environment
• Ability to understand guest needs and to deliver superior customer service
• Ability to work long hours with a strong focus on operational excellence
• Knowledge in bar operation is a must
• Perform job with attention to details and the ability to organize and handle multiple tasks
• Proven ability to successfully support the management to motivate and lead a diverse team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Basic computer skills including MS Office is a plus
• Ability to understand effective approaches of communication with different individuals
• Verbal and written communication skills in Arabic or other languages are preferred
• Ability to oversee a large and complex area and to work in an outdoor environment in a hot climate
