Daikan Izakaya Abu Dhabi is seeking a Bar Back to support bartenders and keep the bar fully stocked, clean, organized, and operating efficiently. The role involves preparing supplies, replenishing stock, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting the bar team in delivering excellent guest service.

Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is preferred, with a basic knowledge of beverages and bar operations.

Responsabilités

• Assist bartenders during service periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Replenish beverages, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware and other bar supplies.
• Prepare garnishes, juices, syrups and other ingredients as required.
• Ensure the bar area remains clean, organized and well-stocked at all times.
• Collect and wash glassware, utensils and bar equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages.
• Receive, organize and store beverage deliveries and rotate stock according to procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock control activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with policies and local regulations.
• Dispose of waste and empty bottles appropriately.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders during service periods to ensure smooth operations
• Replenish beverages mixers garnishes ice glassware and other bar supplies
• Prepare garnishes juices syrups and other ingredients as required
• Ensure the bar area remains clean organized and well-stocked at all times
• Collect and wash glassware utensils and bar equipment
• Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages
• Receive organize and store beverage deliveries and rotate stock according to company procedures
• Assist with inventory counts and stock control activities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies and local regulations
• Dispose of waste and empty bottles appropriately
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times and ensure work areas are free from hazards
• Respond promptly to requests from bartenders and service staff

Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to lift and carry stock, kegs, and supplies when required. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
