Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced culinary professional to prepare meals, manage kitchen temperatures, and maintain quality and presentation according to recipes. You will monitor food logs, communicate needs during rush periods, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the kitchen.

The role includes supporting management in staffing and training, while upholding Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards.

Qualifications

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items and follow recipes, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters and monitor food safety and logs.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
• Inform Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials and communicate menu changes to staff.
• Follow all safety policies, protect company assets, and report maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Stand, walk, or lift as required and perform other duties as assigned.
