Job summary

Aloft Dubai is looking for a motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Steward to support cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen and banquet areas. You will assist stewards, help with plate-ups, and ensure water temperature and chemical levels are properly documented.

You will operate cleaning equipment, help with staff scheduling and training, maintain professional appearance, and uphold Marriott's service standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist Stewards to improve cleanup efficiency.
• Maintain water temperature and chemical levels; document.
• Assist with banquet plate-ups and transporting items.
• Support banquet and buffet by transporting and ensuring stock.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including dishwasher and trash compactor.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating staff.
• Maintain professional appearance and protect company assets.
