JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is seeking a professional banquet server to support high-profile events in our luxury venues. You will collaborate with chefs and stewards, ensuring service needs are communicated and events run smoothly.

Responsibilities include preparing and presenting checks for payment, readying banquet spaces, and maintaining impeccable cleanliness and presentation of tableware, while welcoming guests and accommodating dietary requests with precision.

Qualifications

• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Professional personal appearance and clean uniform.
• Ability to move, lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards throughout functions.
• Prepare and present checks to group contacts for payment.
• Ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are ready for service.
• Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Communicate dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Follow all company safety and security policies.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
