Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology seeks an experienced Banquet Captain to lead event teams in Dubai. You will supervise staff, coordinate setup and service, ensure smooth operations, and deliver exceptional guest experiences across functions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Food & Beverage is preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage staff and multiple tasks during busy events.
• Strong knowledge of banquet and food & beverage service standards.
• UAE hospitality experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate banquet service staff during events and functions.
• Assign duties and ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and communicate event details to the service team.
• Coordinate setup and breakdown of banquet halls, tables, chairs, buffet areas, and service stations.
• Ensure rooms are properly arranged according to event requirements.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure timely food and beverage service.
• Monitor food presentation, service timing, cleanliness, and overall quality.
• Welcome guests and provide professional and courteous service throughout the event.
• Act as a point of contact for clients and guests during assigned functions.
• Handle guest requests and resolve service concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor staff appearance, grooming, attendance, and service standards.
• Ensure banquet areas, equipment, and service stations remain clean and organized.
• Check event requirements, guest numbers, menus, and special requests before service.
• Assist with inventory and proper handling of banquet equipment and supplies.
• Prepare event or service reports and communicate important feedback to management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety procedures.

• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended event hours when required.
