Job summary

Mumzworld is seeking a Category Manager for Baby Gear & Nursery to own the category P&L, lead strategy, range planning, and vendor negotiations across strollers, car seats, cribs and more. You will work with Marketing, Logistics, Tech, Customer Care and Warehouse to deliver an exceptional experience for parents in the region.

The ideal candidate has a buying, category or key account background with strong negotiation skills and a data-driven approach, understanding safety and quality are

Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce or retail buying, category management or key accounts.
• Strong negotiation skills and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with stock management, OTB and vendor collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Category Strategy & Range Planning: Build and implement a productive category strategy and range plan across the site.
• P&L Ownership & Commercial Performance: Take full responsibility for the category P&L, maximizing sales revenue, gross margin and profitability.
• Vendor Negotiation & Partnerships: Negotiate contracts and promotions with brand partners and distributors.
• Brand Sourcing & Onboarding: Source new brands and products, including exclusive launches.
• Stock Planning & OTB Management: Plan and monitor stock, manage open-to-buy.
• Availability & Pricing: Ensure strong availability and implement pricing strategy.
• Campaigns & Marketing: Coordinate weekly/monthly marketing activities and major sale events.
• Category Merchandising & Customer Experience: Improve navigation, specs, imagery and sizing guidance.
• Product Safety & Compliance: Ensure safety standards and certifications.
• Operational Problem Solving: Work with Customer Care and Warehouse to resolve issues.
• Reporting & Communication: Report key information to the Manager clearly and timely.
