Mumzworld.com in Dubai seeks a Category Manager for Baby Gear & Nursery to grow sales and profitability across strollers to monitors. You own the category P&L and drive strategy, range planning, vendor negotiations, pricing and stock health, collaborating with Marketing, Logistics, Tech, Customer Care and Warehouse.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in e-commerce or retail buying or category roles, strong negotiation skills, and a data-driven approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in e-commerce and/or retail as a Buyer, Senior Buyer, Category Manager, Key Account Manager, Account Manager or similar role.
• Knowledge of the baby gear, nursery, juvenile products or home and furniture categories is a strong advantage, as is knowledge of the GCC market.
• Proven ability to manage multiple vendors, accounts and projects at the same time. Experience negotiating commercial terms, managing stock and OTB, and delivering category growth is expected.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field.
• Data-oriented and analytical, with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP systems and e-commerce reporting or BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategy and range plan across the site.
• Own category P&L and drive sales, gross margin and profitability.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, promotions and seasonal activities with brand partners.
• Source and onboard new brands and products, including exclusive launches.
• Plan, monitor and manage stock with Logistics, and control OTB.
• Ensure strong availability and implement pricing strategy with market analysis.
• Coordinate weekly/monthly campaigns with Marketing for major sale events.
• Collaborate with Tech and Marketing to optimize site/app navigation and product presentation.
• Ensure product safety and regulatory compliance across markets.
• Coordinate with Customer Care and Warehouse to resolve issues; use feedback to improve range.
• Report category information, risks and results to the Manager.
