Job summary

Averda, a global leader in integrated waste management, is seeking a target-driven Collections Professional in the UAE to manage B2B credit control, accounts receivable, and dispute resolution while maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will monitor ageing, pursue overdue payments through calls and visits, negotiate payment plans, reconcile accounts, and prepare daily to monthly collection reports for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or B2B collections.
• Experience in waste management, facilities management, logistics, FM, construction, or related B2B service industries preferred.
• UAE experience is essential.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts, ageing reports, and overdue balances.
• Follow up with customers through calls, emails, and client visits to secure payments.
• Develop and execute collection plans to achieve monthly targets.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies in invoices, payments, and credit notes.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers, within company guidelines.
• Issue collection reminders, statements, and reports related to overdue accounts.
• Identify high-risk and long-outstanding accounts and escalate as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and payments.
