Overview of the Role
The B2B Aftersales Manager will take ownership of fleet aftersales activities within Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Company. Reporting to the Head of B2B, the position will develop and execute the business plan for the function while managing its growth strategy and profit-and-loss performance. The role serves corporate and SME customers across rental and leasing, government, taxi and limousine, and other fleet segments. It requires close coordination with Fleet Sales, Central Aftersales, Parts, Pre-Delivery Inspection, Government Relations, OEM partners, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable commercial and technical support throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
What You Will Do
Fleet Aftersales Strategy and Performance
- Lead fleet aftersales activities and execute the agreed business plan and growth strategy.
- Manage profit-and-loss performance for the fleet aftersales function.
- Develop commercial initiatives that strengthen service retention, revenue, and profitability.
- Monitor aftersales performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Align operational priorities with the requirements of corporate and SME fleet customers.
Service and Warranty Solutions
- Develop service contracts tailored to fleet customer requirements.
- Establish extended-warranty programmes and other aftersales solutions.
- Coordinate warranty recalls and technical support for fleet accounts.
- Work with internal teams to ensure appropriate parts availability and service capacity.
- Develop solutions that help reduce maintenance disruption and vehicle downtime.
Fleet Customer Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key corporate and SME customers.
- Conduct proactive customer visits and structured business reviews.
- Support customer tenders with relevant aftersales propositions.
- Respond effectively to customer issues and coordinate timely resolution.
- Strengthen fleet customer retention through consistent service delivery and account management.
Operational Coordination
- Align service-level agreements with Central Aftersales and relevant internal teams.
- Coordinate capacity planning, parts availability, and demand forecasts.
- Manage breakdown and accident-repair support for key accounts.
- Coordinate technical assistance to minimize vehicle-off-road time.
- Maintain effective collaboration across Fleet Sales, Aftersales, Parts, and Pre-Delivery Inspection operations.
Performance Analysis
- Manage fleet aftersales dashboards and car-parc data.
- Monitor service penetration, customer satisfaction, vehicle-off-road time, and commercial performance.
- Use operational and customer data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain visibility of fleet demand and aftersales performance across key accounts.
Sales and Commercial Support
- Support Fleet Sales with aftersales propositions that strengthen customer offers.
- Provide total-cost-of-ownership insights for fleet customers.
- Develop commercial business cases supporting incremental vehicle sales.
- Contribute to maintenance-cost forecasts and other fleet commercial evaluations.
Electric Vehicle and Technology Support
- Provide EV and PHEV training support to key account customers.
- Maintain current knowledge of EV, PHEV, and REEV technologies.
- Monitor relevant competitor, market, and technology developments.
- Engage OEM partners on fleet dashboards, telematics capabilities, and customer-focused aftersales solutions.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop two Aftersales Key Account Managers.
- Establish clear priorities and support effective account management.
- Influence senior stakeholders across the automotive business.
- Promote collaboration between commercial, technical, and operational teams.
Required Skills and Experience
- Technical, engineering, or business management qualification is highly desirable.
- At least 10 years of automotive industry experience within aftersales.
- Experience supporting UAE fleet key accounts.
- Strong understanding of dealership and leasing-company aftersales operations at technical and operational levels.
- Sound knowledge of the UAE fleet market.
- Established network within the fleet key account sector.
- Knowledge of new-energy vehicle technologies, including EV, PHEV, and REEV platforms.
- Commercial experience developing business cases and managing profitability.
- Ability to contribute to maintenance-cost forecasting.
- Proven team leadership and project management capability.
- Experience influencing senior decision-makers and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and customer-management skills.
