Job summary

FL Technics LLC in the UAE seeks an experienced B2 Aircraft Engineer to join our maintenance operations in Dubai. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled avionics maintenance on B737NG and A320, troubleshoot electrical and navigation systems, and certify tasks in line with licence and company authorisation.

The role requires ICAO-compliant B2 licence and B737NG/A320 ratings, strong English, and ability to work in a team on shifts in Abu Dhabi/Dubai.

Qualifications

• Holder of a valid ICAO B2 aircraft maintenance licence (GCAA or EASA preferred).
• B737NG and A320 type ratings endorsed on licence are required.
• Hands-on avionics maintenance and fault-finding experience on B737NG and A320.
• Additional B777 rating is an advantage; GCAA licence conversion experience is valued.
• Proficient technical English and ability to work in a team in a shifting schedule.

Responsibilities

FL Technics LLC is expanding its team and seeking an experienced B2 Aircraft Engineer to join our operations in UAE.

YOUR TASKS:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled avionics maintenance on B737NG and A320 aircraft.
• Troubleshoot and rectify defects in aircraft electrical, instrument, communication, navigation and associated avionics systems.
• Certify maintenance within the scope of your licence and company authorisation.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with approved maintenance data, company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and support teams to ensure the highest safety and quality standards.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

• A valid ICAO-compliant Category B2 aircraft maintenance licence issued by GCAA, DGCA or EASA. Candidates holding both GCAA and EASA licences are preferred.
• Both B737NG and A320 type ratings endorsed on your licence.
• Hands-on avionics maintenance and troubleshooting experience on B737NG and A320 aircraft.
• A B777 type rating and maintenance experience would be an advantage.
• For candidates requiring GCAA licence conversion: at least two years of company authorisation, together with the required supporting work sheets.
• Completed EWIS, Fuel Tank Safety (FTS), Human Factors (HF) and Safety Management System (SMS) courses.
• Good command of technical English, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to work shifts in Abu Dhabi/Dubai.
