Job summary

Resource Group - Recruitment is seeking a B1/B2/C licensed engineer to be based in the UAE for VIP aircraft support. You will ensure continuing airworthiness, operational readiness, and compliance with UAE GCAA CAR 66 during base and in-field tasks.

Responsibilities include maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, and liaison with the operations team. Strong leadership and English communication are essential, with experience on Airbus A320 family preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE GCAA CAR 66 B1/B2/C Licence; or equivalent for conversion.
• Airbus A320 Family Type Rating (IAE V2500-A5) experience.
• Engine Run Approval and_line/base maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and certify line and base maintenance.
• Coordinate and document maintenance actions to regulatory standards.
• Lead maintenance activities and supervise engineering staff during deployments.
• Troubleshoot defects and ensure safety, quality and reliability.

Exclusive | Licensed Engineer | B1/B2/C | UAE

We are working exclusively with our VVIP client to source a B1 B2 Licensed Engineer to be based in the UAE. Responsible for ensuring continuing airworthiness, and operational readiness of the aircraft both in the base environment and while away from base, in compliance with UAE GCAA CAR 66 regulations. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, inspections, compliance and documentation management, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Essential Requirements:

• Valid UAE GCAA CAR 66 B1/B2/C Licence, or equivalent suitable for conversion
• Airbus A320 Family Type Rating (IAE V2500-A5)
• Engine Run Approval
• Experience in line/base maintenance, troubleshooting and certification
• Strong knowledge of Airbus technical documentation and AMOS (preferred)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Native English Speaker

Desirable:

• Previous Flying Engineer experience
• VIP/VVIP or Head of State aircraft experience
• CAMO/Technical Services background
• Current EWIS, SMS, HF, FTS, ETOPS and SWOPS training
• Tow tug / GSE experience
• Venue and CCC cabin management systems
• Ability to work as part of a small team with operational crew
• Knowledge of UAE GCAA regulations and continuing airworthiness

Key Responsibilities:
