Job summary

FL Technics LLC in the UAE is seeking an experienced B1 Aircraft Engineer to join our maintenance team in Dubai. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on B737NG and A320 aircraft, troubleshoot defects, certify tasks, and maintain detailed records.

Candidates must hold an ICAO‑compliant B1.1 licence with B737NG and A320 type ratings, hands‑on maintenance on these aircraft, and be able to work shifts in Abu Dhabi/Dubai.

Qualifications

• ICAO‑compliant B1.1 licence required; GCAA or EASA licences preferred.
• B737NG and A320 type ratings endorsed on licence.
• Hands-on maintenance experience on B737NG and A320 with different engine types.
• Two years of company authorisation for GCAA licence conversion may be required.
• Completed EWIS, FTS, HF and SMS courses.

FL Technics LLC is expanding its team and seeking an experienced B1 Aircraft Engineer to join our operations in UAE.

YOUR TASKS

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on B737NG and/or A320 aircraft.
• Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical, engine and associated aircraft system defects.
• Certify maintenance within the scope of your licence and company authorisation.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with approved maintenance data, company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and support teams to ensure the highest safety and quality standards.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• A valid ICAO‑compliant Category B1.1 aircraft maintenance licence issued by GCAA, DGCA or EASA. Candidates holding both GCAA and EASA licences are preferred.
• Both B737NG and A320 type ratings endorsed on your licence.
• Hands-on maintenance experience on B737NG and A320 aircraft with different engine types.
• A B777 type rating and maintenance experience would be an advantage.
• For candidates requiring GCAA licence conversion: at least two years of company authorisation, together with the required supporting work sheets.
• Completed EWIS, Fuel Tank Safety (FTS), Human Factors (HF) and Safety Management System (SMS) courses.
• Good command of technical English, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to work shifts in Abu Dhabi/Dubai.
