Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a specialist to ensure robust controls over accounting operations. The role involves resolving workflow issues, reviewing risk exposures with SSO management, and testing standards for new applications within the development lifecycle.

The candidate will analyze specifications, verify data integrity in the core banking system, and support both financial and non-financial transactions across issuer services, custody, and asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English are essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily reconciliation of custody client cash and securities positions with Local & Global Custodians where applicable.
• Provide MIS and KPI updates to SSO management and coordinate with related functions.
• Liaise with internal teams and external banks to resolve queries and ensure timely settlement of transactions.
• Support IPO processing and ensure controls over SSO operations during key events.
• Create training materials and process manuals to support SSO activities.
