Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank FAB is seeking a Cost Analyst in Personal and Private Banking. The role covers cost booking, accruals and amortizations, cost review and reporting across both divisions, and supports financial review and approvals of requisitions.

You will manage month‑end adjustments, maintain the cost structure, coordinate new Chart of Accounts with GF/FTBS, and reconcile suspense accounts. A professional accounting degree with 5+ years banking experience, strong MS Office and

Qualifications

• Professional degree in accounting/finance required; CA/ACCA/CPA certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail banking business is desirable.
• 5+ years of banking experience in similar cost/finance roles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Review all costs recognized to PL to ensure correct reporting and structure.
• Manage accruals and month-end provisions and perform manual adjustments.
• Process purchase requisitions and conduct business finance reviews for budget availability.
• Coordinate creation of new Chart of Accounts with GF and FTBS; ensure correct reporting structure.
• Reconcile suspense accounts and ensure accurate postings in Core systems.
