Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank FAB in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior Finance professional to own the end-to-end Cost Allocation process for the group, oversee monthly cost reporting, and deliver detailed variance analysis for enablement functions and business units.

You will lead a team, train juniors, ensure compliance with policies, identify risks and opportunities, and drive continuous improvement in cost management and budgeting across the bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Professional qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA) or master’s level qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and on-the-job training for junior colleagues to achieve team objectives and complete tasks efficiently.
• Promote the organization’s values and ethics within the team and wider organization to support a value-driven culture.
• Monitor cost allocation financial performance versus budget and report variances to management.
• Identify risks and opportunities and advise management on measures to facilitate decision making.
• Provide inputs and implement policies, systems and procedures for the assigned team to ensure compliance and quality service.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems and processes for cost reduction.
• Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet business and department requirements.
• Manage the end-to-end Cost Allocation process for the group.
