Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Risk Manager with aviation experience to lead risk management across large-scale engineering projects. The role requires developing and maintaining risk processes, monitoring dependencies, and driving governance to ensure on-time delivery.

You will coordinate with project teams, manage internal and external risks, and deliver timely management information to stakeholders. A background in engineering or business with a focus on risk is essential.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years’ experience in Risk Management; minimum 3 years as Risk Manager in Construction/Engineering
• Experience in Aviation is required
• Graduate in Engineering / Business or equivalent; postgraduate qualifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor a risk issue and opportunity management process.
• Maintain a risk matrix identifying dependencies and impacts of delays.
• Identify, monitor and manage dependencies and related issues.
• Identify opportunities to coordinate discussions and agreements to realise benefits.
• Monitor projects to ensure a robust Risk Management process is active.
• Implement Risk Management Plan, Risk Log and governance processes.
• Track significant risks and ensure systematic identification, evaluation and communication across the program.
• Identify and manage internal and inter-program risks and external risks.
• Review and update Risk Log against status reports and meetings.
• Support client objectives: provide timely management information and drive delivery across projects.
