AtkinsRéalis in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior Planning Manager to lead planning strategy, schedule management, and performance control for complex infrastructure programs. You will oversee a team of planners, analysts and managers, ensuring resource allocation, risk assessment and milestone tracking across projects.

The role emphasizes managing large-scale infrastructure with UAE exposure, developing planning plans, and providing strategic input on scheduling, cost, and procurement

Qualifications

• Experience in managing complex projects, preferably infrastructure in the Middle East.
• Proven expertise in schedule management and performance tracking.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with project control tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update Planning and Schedule Management Plan.
• Lead a team of Planning Engineers, Managers and Analysts.
• Implement scheduling activities and business development plans.
• Support project team with time management and control.
• Establish criteria for schedule development and WBS.
• Develop summary and detailed schedules and track milestones.
• Identify major milestones, approvals and long lead items.
• Define schedule logic and realistic activity durations with taskowners.
• Evaluate critical paths and track progress via site inspections.
• Support risk allocation and value engineering workshops.
• Provide strategic project management input including resources and finances.
• Review earned value and performance reports and related schedules.
