Job summary

RTX is seeking a Quality leader to head product safety, compliance, and regulatory oversight at the Abu Dhabi site. You will guide QMS processes and lead a team to ensure safe, compliant aerospace outputs across OEM and Aftermarket operations.

This on-site role requires strong experience with Lean CI, audits in regulated environments, and collaboration with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years in a managerial role in aviation operations or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and Safety Management Systems and CI tools.
• Experience leading audits in regulated aerospace environments with formal auditor training.
• Proven Lean/CI experience with measurable results in quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site Quality function, policy, standards, compliance oversight and resources.
• Serve as functional management representative for aviation and non-aviation approvals.
• Act as Quality/Safety Management System site representative and report performance to leadership.
• Provide strategic Quality leadership to ensure product safety and regulatory alignment.
• Drive audits to ensure compliance with standards and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain QMS documentation and training for sites and programs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce COPQ and escapes.
• Analyse quality data to identify trends and mitigate risk.
• Lead Lean tools deployment (CORE) to improve efficiency and quality.
